Two NJ Cars Moved
The two New Jersey cars (5221 and 5223) at NatCap have been moved to Lyons Industries for Motor and Truck Work.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Rahway, at 1731 Church Street (corner of West Grand), Rahway, NJ 07065. Meetings begin at 7:30 PM.

Newark City Subway Extension Opens On June 22, 2002 NJ Transit opened the new extension of the Newark City Subway to Grove Street in Belleville, NJ. The image to the left shows one car inbound and one car outbound right at one of the new grade crossings. Click here for more. |

End of the Line for the K-car It has been reported that the last remaining K-cars on the PATH system are being cut up for scrap. The K-car seen in this rare view above with the H&M (Hudson & Manhattan) logo on a lead car served the New York-New Jersey commuting area through the 1960's.
